Bigger is Better! This massive 30lb Black Cherry End Grain Cutting Board has some impressive measurables coming in at a full 24" long by 18" wide and 3" thick. Built to stand up to rugged use while also being an impressive compliment to your kitchen decor.
We love Black Cherry because it naturally darkens from a pinkish brown to that classic American dark reddish brown as it is exposed to natural light. The wood typically has black streaks in it, due to organic mineral deposits, that provide an awesome contrast to the natural tone of this sought after domestic hardwood.
To compliment and accent this impressive board, we have included our upgraded and large solid brass feet with rubber pads to make sure this massive board stays put on your slick countertops.
Our End Grain Cutting Boards are widely regarded as the single best cutting surfaces for the chef. The end grain is the gentlest on your knife, meaning your knives will stay sharper longer, and these boards are better at hiding knife marks and scratches. Since these products are made from natural materials, each board is unique and there will be normal variations in wood grain and wood tone. In addition, boards may vary in size from the standard product description, no more than 1/4" in width/length and 1/8" in thickness both of which are due to variation in the milling and production process. Bottom line: your board will be unique and awesome!
Cutting boards are exceptionally durable products but they must be properly cared for. Overall, cutting boards must be hand washed with soap and water only and must not be put in a dishwasher or immersed for extended periods of time in water. In addition, these boards should be oiled when they exhibit signs of dryness. Please see use and care instructions for full details.
